In the fall of 2013, my friends Stephen Dixon, Chris Edel, and I approached head of Furman TV, Luke Christie, about producing the first original content for the network since the 90's. Luke was thrilled and enlisted the help of computer science major, Zach Hall, to help with editing and producing. Because there were only a few of us, we all learned how to use the cameras, frame shots, edit, and everything else associated with the production of the show. After a few trial runs, we filmed our first show and broadcast it on the Furman TV station. Realizing that this had limited reach, we began putting each episode on a YouTube channel, making it accessible to those outside of the Furman community. The episodes that we have produced can be found here, on the FTV2 YouTube Channel.
